Reinstall Application From The Cloud Portal

To make your Application easily accessible for you to install and use, we have many different pre-made system images you can use to get a fresh installation of the Application of your choice. To use any of these images on a current server that has already been created, follow the steps below.

Using the Reinstall feature on your VPS will perform a fresh install of the operating system, and all existing data on the VPS will be lost. We highly suggest ensuring any required data is backed up and taking a snapshot of your VPS before performing this action.

First: Navigate to your server in your Cloud Control Portal, click the Actions drop-down, and select Reinstall in the upper right side of the page under the Create button.

Second: Select the Applications tab, and all the application images we have available for installation will be displayed.

Third: Select the Application that you would like to reinstall on your server and then click Confirm at the bottom of the page

Choose from any of these Applications:

  • WordPress – A free and open-source content management system based on PHP and MySQL.
  • LAMP Stack – LAMP is an archetypal model of web service stacks, named as an acronym of the names of its original four open-source components: the GNU/Linux operating system, the Apache HTTP Server, the MySQL relational database management system, and the PHP programming language.
  • Joomla! – Joomla! is a free and open-source content management system for publishing web content.
  • Minecraft – Minecraft servers allow players to play online or via a local area network with other people.
  • CPVLab – CPVLab is a popular self-hosted tracking tool that helps you track and optimize your marketing.
  • CentOS Web Panel – CentOS Web Panel is a Free Web Hosting control panel designed for quick and easy management of (Dedicated & VPS) servers minus the chore and effort to use ssh console for every time you want to do something and offers a huge number of options and features for server management in its control panel package
  • LEMP Stack – LEMP is a variation of the LAMP stack used for developing and deploying web applications. LEMP consists of Linux, Nginx, MySQL, and PHP.
  • Virtualmin – A Webmin module for managing multiple virtual hosts through a single interface, like Plesk or Cpanel. It supports the creation and management of Apache virtual hosts, BIND DNS domains, MySQL databases, and mailboxes and aliases with Sendmail or Postfix..
  • Webmin – Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix. Using any modern web browser, you can setup user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing and much more.
  • Plesk – Plesk is a commercial web hosting platform with a control panel that allows a server administrator to set up new websites, reseller accounts, e-mail accounts and DNS entries through a web-based interface.
  • Vesta Control Panel – Vesta is an open source hosting control panel with a clean and focused interface and the latest of very innovative technologies.
  • ownCloud ownCloud is a suite of client–server software for creating and using file hosting services.
  • OpenVPN – OpenVPN is a free and open-source software application that implements virtual private network techniques to create secure point-to-point or site-to-site connections in routed or bridged configurations and remote access facilities.
  • ISPManager – ISPmanager is a commercial Web hosting control panel designed and developed by the ISPsystem hosting software developing company.
  • MEAN Stack – MEAN is a free and open-source JavaScript software stack for building dynamic web sites and web applications. The MEAN stack is MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js.
  • PrestaShop PrestaShop is a freemium, open source e-commerce solution.
  • Visual Composer Visual Composer Website Builder is a WordPress plugin that allows building any website layout fast and easy. It replaces the classic WordPress editor with an intuitive drag and drop interface. Visual Composer Website Builder aims to offer an easy to use mechanism to create a WordPress website from scratch or working with existing content.
  • Drupal – Drupal is a free and open source content-management framework written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License.

A reinstall from an image can take time to complete. Please allow at least 5-10 minutes for the installation to completely finish.

Fourth: Once the installation is complete, you can now start using your Application.

If any login details are needed, they are typically found in a text file on the server itself. To obtain these login credentials, you will have to SSH into the server.

Once you are connected to the server via SSH, the login details should be located in /root/details.txt and you can view the contents of this file by running the command cat /root/details.txt
