About Us
About our Data Center
Location:
- The data center is located at the edge of Bucharest (Romania, Europe).
- Address: Str. Pacii, no. 36, Chiajna, Ilfov, Romania
Internet Connection:
- We are using multiple internet service providers that connect us to the rest of the world, they are connected to redundant Cisco equipments for maximum uptime and performance.

- Adnettelecom
Energy Distribution:
- The data center draws its power directly from the main local power grid using triphase connectivity.
- For power distribution inside our data center we are using multiple online UPS that are monitored 24/7.
- In case of power failure the backup generator will automatically take the load, and in case it fails, a secondary generator is going to start automatically as well.

- We have security staff 24/7 at the facility, but since this is a private Data Center only Ch-center's personel is allowed
A brief history
2005 - Ch-net was founded, and we started as a local Internet Service Provider
2007 - Ch-net started the planning for it's own Data Center with the scope of private use. At the end of the year Ch-net finished the Data Center. At this time Ch-net was offering Web Hosting and Dedicated Servers to private customers in Romania.
2008 - Ch-net registered Ch-center trade mark and renamed it's Data Center. At the start of the year Ch-net moved it's equipments into the new Data Center. The internet capacity doubled to 4 Gbps and new redundant distribution equipments were installed. At the end of the year Ch-center made all it's services public.
2010 - 2 years have passed since the new Data Center was put in use, since then Ch-center signed partner contracts with a few big firms like:

- cPanel
- CloudLinux
- Level3
- Telia Sonera
- AdnetTelecom
- DotroTelecom
And by the end of this year Ch-center will make public it's Cloud Hosting and VPS solutions. |
